Familiar passerby conveningat various locations, in various times. The world slows to a snail's pace. Our worries, our happiness, our afflictionsaired in public spaces. We belch at our fears, and joyfully sob at each other's successes. For mere seconds,we breathe airand leave without remorse.Separation with earnest intentions, life will allow us our time together againin the future. If not tomorrow, then the … Continue reading Familial Friendship

Existential Spite
Quiet trepidation of aged earthstutters man's momentum.Faltering and wallowing, a solidified sludge covers his eyes.He attempts to take holdof roots beside him,but they crumple in his palms. The mud thickens. His feet spatters until hefty with soil.Man attempts to progress forwardwhilst bound. In the midst of his miring,he chuckles,"Another day."
Before I Sleep
Blank space ponders yesterday, finding pockets of airin unedited history.Attempts at tinkering insoluble eventsas to remedy today's afflictions.Pursuing lost opportunities in lost time,Imagining every permutation of singular moments,to assuage current worries.A multiverse of what could have been;Like counting sheep, fantasies grant rest.It is comfortingTo imaginewarmth.
Adulterated Existence
The untendered, aimless spiritRends dried hay into sandAtop itself, buried into earth. Its head exposed,Glancing into space. Its mind adrift clouds.Floating endlessly,Bound for nothing.
Grumbling Adults
Silently weeping children Unheard by complacency. They remain beneath transparent malaise Under us, the Giants. We've chosen to look every which way But down. We dance, trot, hop, skip, stomp, and lunge above clouds. Every so often, we find Treacly corpses Stuck to our boots.
White Lilies
With their little capes and stubby legs,Tiny fists part the cloudsAs they lie beneath an oak's shade."We'll fight the world."We'll fight destiny."Infallible youth spreadsGreen grass, daisies, and tulipsAcross muted earth. They were a short-lived joy.Their eulogies markPermanence in endings. What's leftAre flowers.
Quick Musing
I've never really quite noticed before. I don't believe it is of ubiquitous quality, yet it pervades the space for many who partake. I'm also uncertain as to whether or not this applies to everyone but here goes; writing is lonely. I know, I know. What I've just posited is probably obvious to most. 'Where … Continue reading Quick Musing
An Alcoholic’s Journal
Precursor: I drank some beer and whiskey. Don't lynch me for my weakness. Conventional standards dictate booze to be a sinner’s addiction, to let go of God’s earthly roots and be consumed by Adam and Eve as a catalyst for modernity’s Ragnarök. This is where we part ways with our Godly heritage, or so it … Continue reading An Alcoholic’s Journal
Tremors in the River
For so long I’ve sought a quiet of a particular sort, one in which is solemn in its incorporeal spirit and, yet, never quite alone. Sadly, I am more than aware of how this could be achieved. For that, I remain idle and complacent. I remain fearful and stricken in doubt. Most of all, I … Continue reading Tremors in the River
Funny Joke
Today, I’ve written a little parcel of self-reflective text. Well… really a summation of constant thought and intrigue, peering into a possibly invaluable idea (subjective of course). My mind doesn’t focus well. I cannot remain static for too long, yet my body idles in sedentary slumber and for years as well. This does frighten me. … Continue reading Funny Joke
